09h45 VISIT TO CAVES PRIMAVERA
In 1944 two young brothers, Vital and Lucénio de Almeida, started a wine company under the name of Vinícola Primavera, later Caves Primavera. In the early 60s there was a renovation and extension of the facilities and since then the company followed a strategy of continuing investment updating equipment on production as well as on laboratory and winemaking process. Caves Primavera is an export committed company since its start and is present in several countries of all continents where is widely recognized by the quality of its products.

The Restaurante do Capador offers a very pleasant and welcoming place, with a refined decoration, where you can enjoy a good meal full of delicacies and homemade sweets, having as the election dish the Leitão à Bairrada / roasted suckling pig in wood oven.

15h00 VISIT TO HANDMADE MANUFACTURE OF PASTEL DE ÁGUEDA
Pastel de Águeda, the traditional pastrie, is made-up with eggs, sugar, butter and almonds, have a delicate texture with a crunchy topping, wich makes this speciality one of the best delicacies of Águeda. We’ll meet Mrs Ermelinda – the expert in this traditional sweet.
